THE BIBLICAL BASIS OF THIS BIBLE CURRICULUM is outlined in an article entitled What the Bible Says about Religious Instruction. You may obtain this article FREE by ordering an Introductory Packet of teacher training books and Learner's Discovery Guides for 30-day free examination.

THE ROOTS OF THIS BIBLE CURRICULUM are beautifully displayed in a video entitled History of CIU Bible Teaching Program.

THE PHILOSOPHY OF THIS BIBLE CURRICULUM is detailed in a book entitled More Effective Bible Teaching, the preliminary pages and first lesson of which are available FREE by typing your e-mail address on our HOME PAGE. That philosophy may be summed up in three main premises:

1. Each CURRICULUM should include as much as possible of the entire Bible
(II Timothy 3:16a, Acts 20:27).
2. Each LESSON should include
a. A spiritual challenge for one's learning (Romans 15:4), or
b. An example for his admonition (II Corinthians 10:6, 11).
3. Each LEARNER (including the teacher) should be TOLD no more than necessary;
rather LED
a. To discover for himself
(1) Bible facts, and
(2) Principles derived from those facts; and
b. To let the Holy Spirit work through his own spirit to apply principles to his mind, heart and will so he will be changed:
(1) Inwardly, in thoughts, attitudes and motivations (character), and
(2) Outwardly, in words and actions (conduct) to gradually BE more like Jesus, so he can DO his part in fulfilling the Great Commission (Acts 2:4a, 14a, 36-38a, 41, 42).

SUGGESTIONS FOR USING THIS BIBLE CURRICULUM are given in the author's book, How to Plan Your Course.

The author's graduate school thesis entitled Group Control leads one to discover many BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES OF LEADERSHIP to help with classroom management.

LESSONS OF THIS BIBLE CURRICULUM are based on the beautiful and beloved King James Version, with obsolete, difficult, or technical terms defined at the exact point where learner encounters them.
