Many different plans for various types of Christian schools are outlined in How to Plan Your Course. Home schools may use any of these plans that suit their situation, or may adapt or combine plans, as parents deem best.

Perhaps the best plan for home schools is that whatever curriculum is selected, both parents and children fill in the Learner's Discovery Guides during their personal devotions. Then preferably the father should teach the lesson during Bible class, which may be done during the family devotional time.
